Chris Connor is the new Elvis Presley artiste
for the official Legends in concert show here in the
U.K.
Elite Tributes are proud to announce that
Chris Connor has been chosen as the new Elvis
Presley artiste for Trevor Chance's Legends in concert
tribute show. Chris will be perfoming over 60
nights at Blackpool Central Pier throughout the 2011
summer season. The deal will also see Chris perfom in
Legends worldwide and also on the prestigous
corporate scene in the UK and
abroad.
Legends has toured the UK many times, New
Zealand twice, played Barcelona, Finland, Germany,
Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, The Seychelles, Ireland,
Dubai... the list goes on. With a home in Blackpool in
their own purpose built venue, the concerts have worked
19 weeks a year for the last ten years,
Only two years after first entering the
European ETA championships at Blackpool, the
incredible rise of Chris Connor as a virtual unknown to
one of the most recognised names in the Elvis tribute
world continues. Chris'
performance thrilled fans present on the night,
who inturn brought him to the attention of
ourselves at Elite Tributes. The rest as they say is
history. Chris Connor became one of the most sought
after ETA's in the world and the news today is
another major stepping stone in the meteoric rise of his
career. Now Chris will feature heavily in the
Legend's campaign and headline on the Central Pier,
Blackpool.

The meteoric rise of Chris Connor ETA continues
with him starring in The best Elvis show in the world . .
EVER! With his incredible likeness, moves and voice Chris is
the perfect choice to portray Elvis Presley on stage. A show
originally toured by SJM CONCERTS Britain's biggest promotions
company 1997 - 2000 and starred Steve Preston. Now with Steve
as technical advisor the show is back , complete with flashing

Elite Tributes
have been in talks with the BBC over the last few weeks after
they approached us with a view to Chris Connor appearing in
the Hyde Park, Elvis Anniversary Concert for BBC Radio
2. After positive feedback from an EPE
representative in the USA, the producer asked us to put aside
two days for rehearsals and had chosen three songs for
Chris to perform.
This week however
Elvis Presley Enterprises (who over the last few years have
accepted more and more the part that the top ETA's can play in
the legacy of Elvis Presley) decided on this occasion
they would stick to the original format which did not include
any Elvis tribute artist. Elite Tributes totally understand
and respect their decision although it goes without saying it
is a huge dissapointment for Chris and his fans not forgetting
the BBC.
To be even
considered for such a prestigeous event is testomony to the
progress Chris has made as an ETA over the last 18 months.
Looking ahead at
the bigger picture, especially with Ambassador Enterprises,
Inc., agreeing last week to represent Chris Connor in the
United States and Canada, I am more confident than ever that
these kind of opportunities will continue to present
themselves to an ETA from the United Kingdom who is quite
litterally taking the Elvis tribute world by storm. I would
like to close by saying a big thank you for the fans for their
continuing
support.

Jackson Experience to manage and represent their show.

the tremendous concert at Richmond on Saturday night a member
of the audience just so happened to work for Yorkshire BBC
television. Now they have asked if Chris would appear in the
next few weeks on BBC Look North. She was apparently knocked
out by his performance and would like the programme to do a
feature on him.

Michael Jackson fans were treated to a
brilliant concert at the sell out
show at the Elgarve theatre in Buckinghamshire on Thursday
night. The brilliant Nick Hayne who featured in the
Michael Jackson experience, was simply sensational. Watch this
